Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) will consider BASIS’ plea to not remove the IT offices from residential areas with due significance, a press release said Tuesday.
RAJUK’s plot allotment for BASIS is also in process, said M Bazlul Karim Chaudhury, Chairman of RAJUK. He assured these in a meeting with BASIS delegation led by BASIS President Mustafa Jabbar on Tuesday.
M Rashidul Hasan, BASIS Vice President; Syed Almas Kabir, BASIS Director and Kazi Mohammad Mahabubul Hoque, Senior System Analyst, RAJUK were also present in the meeting.
BASIS delegation put a light on the difficulties the Software and ITES offices will likely to face as a result of the decision to remove all commercialoffices from residential areas.
Besides they also assured RAJUK Chairman that Software and ITES offices are not risky for residential areas. Official request was made to allow the Software and ITES offices operate until they find adequate and suitable space to shift.
At the same time they demanded plot for BASIS in Purbachol again and showed the rationale behind it.
M Bazlul Karim Chaudhury, Chairman of RAJUK listened to these proposals and said soon necessary steps will be taken regarding the issue.
They will also officially inform the decision regarding plot allocation for BASIS by the next month.
